Tasks such as report generation for asset management and assembling complex compositions can now be automated. Many automation assistants are supplied, more can be downloaded later.
Profound Effects® Reveals Free Search Tool For AE 5.5 Reveal, released as charity-ware, allows arbitrary Adobe® After Effects® 5.5 components such as footage or layers to be quickly located, even in very large projects.
Profound Effects® Updates Elastic Gasket™ Version 1.2 (a maintenance release) of Elastic Gasket for Avid® AVX™ systems is now available. Existing owners of Elastic Gasket can download the newest release at no charge from the Profound Effects web site; users need only download the evaluation version and reapply their license.

Automatic Composition Import™ support for Profound Effects Transfer™ Profound Effects, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Transfer plug-in for Avid® AVX™, is directly recognized by the new version of Automatic Composition Import™ from Automatic Duck. Blend modes set in an Avid timeline using Transfer will automatically carry over when that timeline is imported into Adobe® After Effects® using Automatic Composition Import.

Elastic Gasket for AVX 1.0 DISCONTINUED Due to unreliability of AVX 1.0 Avid MC systems, Profound Effects must pull the plug on the AVX 1.0 version of Elastic Gasket. This does not affect the AVX 1.5 version or future versions of the product, or the Avid|DS version.
