Why are you offering it for free?

Crop is provided free as a small gesture to the After Effects community for their continued interest and support of our products. If you find the Crop tool useful, we are suggesting that you make any type of donation to your favority charity or organization or one of the organizations listed on our Overview page.

Why am I seeing an “After Effects can’t continue: CarbonLib 1.4 or later is required.” message when I start After Effects?

Crop is a Carbon-based application, which means that it requires Mac OS X or, if using Mac OS 9, the CarbonLib 1.4 or later extension needs to be installed. You can download the latest CarbonLib extension from the Support section of the Apple Web site.
