“The building blocks to create deep, dimensional backgrounds quickly, are there. Because you customize how the elements go together, the possibilities for use and re-use are exponentially higher than a fixed, pre-composited library ... and it’s named after something that Smithers from The Simpsons might say if someone stole his life-size cardboard cutout of David Hasselhoff ... What more could you want?”

(PPro) In Premiere Pro, when I try to apply the effect to a clip, nothing happens.

Sometimes, an effect might not be initialized at Premiere Pro (PPro) startup, which causes this problem. Either restart PPro while holding down the Shift key (which re-initializes the effects) or reinstall Gak Pak into the AEFilters folder (either the Plug-ins\Common\AEFilters or Plug-ins\locale\AEFilters folder, where locale is the locale-specific folder, such as en_US for US English setups).

Note: If you also have CameraPOV installed, reinstall it in the same folder. Install CameraPOV before Gak Pak, because they both install a shared set of files, but Gak Pak installs updated versions of those files.
